Adaera is committed to preserving your privacy, trust and confidence. This policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site and our services. Because we value your privacy, Adaera will not sell, rent or trade your personal information collected on this site except as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
The Information We Collect:
Adaera collects information from our users at several different points on our website. If you participate in an Adaera discussion forum, please be aware that the information you provide there will be made broadly available to others, potentially inside or outside Adaera, who have access to that discussion forum. We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account. We reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.

The Way We Use Information:

The Way We Use Cookies
Adaera uses cookies to allow us to better analyze our site traffic patterns and to provide improved content, advertisements, products and services. They also allow us to refine and enhance the visitor registration process and to add personalization. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that if you would rather not store the information for future use. If you turn off cookies, Web beacon and other technologies will still detect visits to these pages, but the notices they generate cannot be associated with other non-identifiable cookie information and are disregarded.
The Way We Use Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We employ the WebTrends On-Demand, a software technology that uses clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users. In addition, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If users would like to opt-out of these emails, they may do so by replying to the message with "unsubscribe" in the subject line in the email or email us at support@adaera.com.
When We Share Your Information
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
We use an outside company to process credit cards and to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We partner with other third parties, such as WebTrends, to provide specific services. For example, if a user desires to purchase a web analytic solution we share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
In the event Adaera goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Users will be notified via email prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If, as a result of the business transition, the users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, they will be given the option of removing their personal information from our system.
Your Choice/Opt-in
Our users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-in’ to having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information.
